Univers Diacritics Design

Univers Latin Extended Project
Latin Alphabet is one of the oldest languages in the world as well as it is one of the most common languages. Today, about 2.6 billion people (36% of the world population) use the Latin Alphabet. Many languages use the Latin letters, but a wide range of them has their special characters. Some typefaces include those diacritics whereas many others do not, even though they are pretty common and well-known. Therefore, this project was designed to create an international Latin extended typeface by using an international typeface, Univers for the final project of 'Typographic Enquiry' course at Cambridge School of Art.
